If the signal is experiencing noise you can try several things to fix this problem:

  1. Try moving the BrainMaster farther away from the computer
  2. Unplug the unit from its charger
  3. If you are using a laptop, unplug the AC adapter
  4. Try braiding the electrodes together to try to cancel the noise
  5. Reapply the electrodes to ensure good preparation
  6. Make sure there is no hair in the way of the electrode making connection with the skin
  7. Try other electrodes you know are in good working condition

If none of these work try touching all of the electrodes together.  If you do not see a flat line you should call BrainMaster, 440-232-6000, to obtain an RGA # and return the unit for service.
