coherence uptraining (or downtraining) with the BrainMaster software

The attached settings file shows a basic design for beta coherence uptraining with dynamic thresholding.

You need to download this file to your PC and open it (double-click or "open").  The Session Librarian will automatically unpack the files, so you will have a folder called "Demo Beta Coherence Uptraining with Dynamic Thresholding" in your Folder Selections.  Simply select the file, press "Run the next session" and then "GO" and the simulation will run.

This can be easily modified for downtraining by using "View or Change Settings" and "Event Wizard" to see the event design.  Changing "is greater than" to "is less than" in Event 1 will change this protocol from uptraining to downtraining.

Always do coherence training with caution, it is possible to overtrain coherence.  Range training is recommended to control the range of coherence training.  There is a built-in settings file for Demo Beta Coherence Range Training in the 2.5SE and 3.0 software.
